Why keep a glucose meter at home?

Before: a lab test now and then, one number, and nothing in between. You wonder whether you’re “in range” with no way to check. After: a meter in the drawer, one drop, a reading in seconds, logged in a notebook.

Health authorities stress the value of knowing your blood sugar numbers, together with your doctor (NIDDK, National Institutes of Health; World Health Organization). A written log gives your doctor something concrete to work with.

The meter is a self-monitoring tool: it does not diagnose anything and does not replace lab tests or your doctor’s follow-up. If you are on treatment, never change it based on a home reading without your doctor’s advice.

And what does the moringa bring you?

Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is often called “the tree of life”. Its leaves are naturally rich in vitamins, minerals (iron, calcium, potassium), plant protein and antioxidant compounds. Each tablet delivers 400 mg of leaf powder: an easy way to add to a balanced diet over a long course.

The nutritional value of the leaves and their plant compounds have been reviewed in the scientific literature (Anwar et al., 2007; Stohs & Hartman, 2015; Vergara-Jiménez et al., 2017). Moringa is a food supplement: it does not treat or regulate blood sugar, and it replaces no treatment.

Want the full picture on the plant? Read our complete moringa guide. Prefer to start small? See moringa 400 mg in 60 tablets or the 120-tablet size. For a fuller routine, have a look at our berberine, chromium and moringa pack, or browse the whole moringa range.

How to use the moringa and the meter

Moringa: take two to three tablets a day with a meal and a large glass of water, without exceeding the dose on the label. Give it two to three months of regular use before judging how you feel.

The meter, in four steps:

Wash your hands in warm water and dry them well.
Slide a test strip into the meter.
Prick your fingertip with the lancing device and touch the drop to the strip.
Read the result and log it with the date and time.

Follow the leaflet supplied with the meter. The 10 strips in the kit cover 10 readings: space them out as your doctor advises.

Frequently asked questions

Is the glucose meter really free?

Yes. Every box of moringa 240 tablets comes with a complete kit: meter, lancing device and 10 strips. 1 box is 200 MAD with 1 meter, 2 boxes 300 MAD with 2 meters, 3 boxes 450 MAD with 3 meters.

What’s in the meter kit?

The glucose meter, a lancing device and 10 test strips, so 10 readings to start with. An instruction leaflet comes with the device.

Does moringa lower blood sugar?

No, and we don’t claim it does. Moringa is a nutrient-rich food supplement. It does not treat or regulate blood sugar and replaces no treatment. The meter is there to help you track your numbers with your doctor.

How do I take the moringa tablets?

Take two to three tablets a day with a meal and a large glass of water, without exceeding the dose on the label.

I’m on medication: can I take moringa?

Ask your doctor or pharmacist first, especially if you are treated for blood sugar or blood pressure. Never change a treatment based on a home reading.

Is the product authorised?

Yes. VitalisPro moringa is authorised by Morocco’s National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA).

How do delivery and payment work?
